Corrigendum

Ref.: Tender for Solar Systems - notification dated 2-Jan-2012

1. General Conditions (applicable for all tenders): Condition regarding Earnest Money Deposit is amended by including the following: 
   Bank Guarantees from Scheduled Banks in India will also be accepted as Earnest Money Deposit.
    
2. The following modifications in Technical Specifications are made to the tenders listed below in consonance with the addendum issued by MNRE, to its guidelines
   
   1. Tender no. 5896/PE/Tender-(07)/ANERT/2012
   2. Tender no. 5896/PE/Tender-(08)/ANERT/2012
   3. Tender no. 5896/PE/Tender-(09)/ANERT/2012
   4. Tender no. 5896/PE/Tender-(10)/ANERT/2012
   5. Tender no. 5896/PE/Tender-(11)/ANERT/2012
   Modification:
   Technical Specification of Battery is modified to include Valve Regulated lead acid (VRLA) tubular batteries also.
    
3. The following modification in specifications is made for tender no. 5896/PE/Tender-(13)/ANERT/2012 (page no. 15): Technical specification – Inverter is changed as:
   Inverter
   A 12 V/ 24 V dc to 230 V inverter of rated capacity 500 VA conforming to IEC 61683, IEC 62109-2 & IEC 62093 or equivalent BIS and national electrical safety standards should be used. Other features of the inverter are:— voltage range of operation: 230V ± 2%; frequency: 50 Hz; THD: Below 5%; self commuted, current regulated, high frequency IGBT/MOSFET based with minimum efficiency of 90% at full load; power factor: 0.9 lag to unity.  Over voltage, under voltage, overload, reverse polarity and short circuit protection to be provided.  Indicators for battery low, overload, inverter ON, input and output voltage, input and output current, frequency and power output should be displayed.  150% of rated capacity for 10 second should be provided as surge protection. Acoustic noise level should be below 50 dB.
