A high-level team from the European Union India office, together with EURAXESS India and support from MNRE, led by Mr. Pierrick Fillon-Ashida, First Counsellor and Head of Research & Innovation at the Delegation of the European Union to India, and Dr. Vivek Dham, Advisor for Research & Innovation, held a hybrid Information and Networking Event on 12 June 2025 at ANERT Headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram to promote the Horizon Europe–MNRE call on "Waste to Renewable Hydrogen," bringing together scientists, innovators, academics, and startups to raise awareness and foster joint Indo-EU research and innovation projects in green hydrogen, supported by €10 million from the EU and ₹90 crore from MNRE for TRL 5 technologies, featuring flash pitches from emerging companies, with participation from key research institutions, and aiming to create new partnerships for decarbonization, waste management, and clean hydrogen production before the 2 September 2025 proposal deadline.
